Feeding the Poor of Haiti
Food in Haiti has risen over 80% since the beginning of 2008. And in September, 4 hurricanes devastated up to 60% of crops grown by the poor in rural areas.  Children are being fed "dirt cookies" with no nutritional value to fill their stomachs and keep them from crying.

In October, donors helped us raise $6400. to ship a container of 270,000 Feed My Starving Children meals to the impoverished country of Haiti. These meals will go to schools, orphanages and feeding programs in some of the poorest areas of Haiti including Cite Soleil, one of the worst slums in the world.

Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere being located only 90 minutes by plane from the USA. This is a country where one in 8 children will die before the age of 5 from cureable or treatable diseases. While our children have the time of their lives at Disneyworld, 90 minutes away, children of Haiti fight for their lives.

Our container is now in customs awaiting government approval and duty for release. Please help us pay for duty and distribution by making a purposeful donation to those in need.
