Buya.org is in search of small, grassroots, highly effective charities that would like to market their heartfelt causes online. Charities interested in becoming a buya.org partner shoud request a Partner Agreement or download a Buya.org Partner Agreement pdf  and submit it for review. Reviews are normally completed within 60 days.

Some of the requirements to be become a buya.org partner are:

• Must have heartfelt causes that serve the poor, vulnerable and/or disadvantaged
• Must be a legal 501(c)3
• Must submit a copy of your IRS determination letter
• Must submit last 3 years IRS form 990
• Must have 80% or greater donations go to program services
• Must be able to implement purchase within pre agreed timeframe
  
• Must be willing and able to commit to "Proof of Impact" statements on each purchase
• Must have approval from charity's Executive Director

Buya.org does not charge any fee for its services to your organization. All we ask is that you reimburse us for the credit card fee that is charged to Buya.org by the credit card company for the transaction. The fee is 3% of the transaction. That means that your fundraising costs through Buya.org, for credit card transactions, are only 3% of the funds raised. Fundraising costs for monies that come into Buya.org by check have no fundraising costs associated with them. For most charities, this is very low and for many it is lower than their own fund raising percentage. This allows your charity to have one of the most cost effective and lowest fund raising costs.

By continuing to request services from Buya.org, your organization agrees to comply with the then current version of the Partner Requirements. Buya.org, may, at it's sole discretion, refuse services to an organization which: i) promotes violence; ii) fails to meet the Partner Requirements, including but not limited to maintaining 501c3 status; or iii) mission statement or practices are incompatible with Buya.org's mission statement and practices.
