Can you imagine a day without water? Have you every had parched lips? What if your children had bacteria and parasites living in their stomachs causing servere diahrea and malnutrition from drinking water out of the sewer? This is the daily reality for many in Cite Soleil, Haiti, one of the worst slums in the western hemisphere.

This red truck provides a life line to many who live in extreme poverty by making 4-5 water runs a day delivering clean, chorinated water, bucket by bucket. Each load brings 3500 gallons of water, enough for 700 families. Clean water can truly be the difference between life and death for many children in Cite Soleil.

We are in desperate need of funds to repair and maintain our truck. Whether it's tires, brakes or any other breakdown issue, water can not run if the truck does not run. And while we can see a tire or brakes getting worn, we can not anticipate when a spring will break or electical short will become an issue.
