Imagine, having to decide "Do I buy my children shoes or do I feed them?" Many mothers in Cite Soleil, Haiti have to make these kinds of decisions every day.

On my last trip to Cite Soleil in December, I noticed so many children either bare foot or with shoes that were either falling apart or many sizes too small. There are few paved roads in Haiti and the path is always a rocky one. Image walking on rocks and stones every day because your parents can't affort to buy you shoes. I'm sorry to say but this is all to common.

Your purchase will be sure to be met with the same response that I was met with when I told these children I was going to buy some shoes for them.
